For artist Elizabeth Naughton, it is important for her to be intimate with her subject matter. Having lived on the water in Massachusetts and now in Florida, she continues to be exposed to incredible environments and experiences as she travels the globe. 

Seeing, touching, exploring and capturing life is crucial. “We all see things from different perspectives - lenses. I touch and grasp the complexity, texture and details of my surroundings with a child-like sense of awe. When I paint, the brush becomes an extension of my senses. The white of the canvas waiting for my brush to tell its story.”
